The Daily Grind: How important are achievements to you?

In most cases I think the achievement system is put in to just to encourage a grind and to make up for the lack of content. LOTRO deed rewards are good but so much grinding.

Just goes to show how versitle the Unreal 3 engine is, always disappointed me that the best Epic could do with it is an average 3rd person shooter.
