if you quit it in the past, you will quit it again for the same reasons.

its a MOBA, and its Fantasy Battles, not 40K. not quite the same for this old 40K fanboi..

I started with UO.
to this day, I have never experienced a greater joy in any other MMO than when I finished my spellbook.

the WAR40K fanboi in me is raging at this decision, no MMO of my favourite (by FAR) IP now, nor in the close-to-mid future....

the hopeless cynic in me knows it probably was the right call, the game was shaping up to be a flop incoming.
2 factions would have killed it anyway, I rather they just euthanized it

not to mention Aion is an inmense grind on the epic level, first for exp and then for AP. the second one specially goes beyond crazy, it puts good old L2 to shame.

Compared to the sheer amount of content that TERA offers with a quick, fast leveling, barely no grind (for an asian title) and the open world pvp (no factions) puts Aion way second on the line.

you seem to forget there is a reason why Aion had to go F2P.
because its a BAD game that noone wanted to play in the first place.

being free will sure lure a big bunch of penniless freeloaders, but even that kind of people have a limit to how much they can grind, and Aion will push them over that limit, believe me.

Im tired as a whole with how few character creation options we are given in most MMOs, males and females alike.

its sad, but usually the only MMOs that give lots of options are the asian MMOs, and then you have to deal with a plethora of options that you mostly will find unappealing anyway.

They are mostly aimed at designing an asian anime character. as in, I have tons of choices, but most of them will get me an androginous char with emo or SonGoku hairstyles anyway.

and in western MMOs you will have a tiny array of options which, while they appeal to a broader audience and not just to the anime fans, wont be enough to satisfy anyway.

have fun in a game whose 2 biggest guilds will probably be "Team Edward" and "Team Jacob", and the territorial warfare will be over arguments about whos sexier...
