My 2c,

I mostly play female characters, I am male. I do it cause I dont wanna stare at mans backside for hours at a time.

Furthermore, I am interested in fantasy, not simulation. Its irrelevant to me wether or not the Adamantium Pushup Bra of the Abyss offers real protection, its all about the aesthetics.

All Im sayin is that in CO-OP the game stays and plays how it is. If you go MMO, those "Living" NPCs that can be killed, like you, dislike you, have daily routines etc. Become static immortal quest vending machines. Maybe im just burned out on MMOs, but I like how interesting non-MMO worlds can be.

Also having lasting and important decisions and cause and effect is cool. You cant kill Lucas Simms in Megaton if 10,000 other people on the server need to talk to him. And what happens when you blow up Megaton? Do you see a crowd of people that havent talking to thin air? Phasing can only do so much.

Same goes for Fallout.

Not being cruel for the sake of it, but seriously, this looks VERY lackluster. Its the same ol same ol visually, the Bloodletter is just a Necro/Barb mashup, I dunno, there are better options. I just checked the site and saw you could pick a race as well as a class, THATS kinda interesting! Then I saw the racial bonuses, goodbye interesting! +20% to a resistance and +X to a stat?.... seriously? +3 Mana?

Id rather play Titans Quest honestly, or Torchlight, and eagerly awaiting Torchlight 2 and Grim Dawn. I dont know what to make of D3 anymore, I mean it started development in 2001. Either those are 5 LOOOOOONNNNNGGGG acts, or it teaches you latin, does your taxes and cures cancer. Besides I'm also terrified of how Kotick plans to make money on it, 5 bucks a Magic Find potion perhaps? ugh.

I dislike them personally. I'd rather have content, this goes for Hardmodes as well. I have no interest in repeating encounters with voluntary handicaps for trivial rewards. If there is a tangible reward, I'll do it if I want the reward, but at that point it could have been a quest.

I think I'd like them a bit more if they were actually "achievements". I mean Borderlands gives you one for shooting bullets.... seriously. Like what else were you gonna do? At that point its like Twitter.

In the book, The Theory of Fun, they say that players have "fun" when they win, it doesn't need to be challenging or as an elitist would say "earned". People like to see a list filled in like they are accomplishing something, even if its something they'd be doing anyways. Like walking around or shooting bullets, or even healing as mentioned above. Meh... no thanks.

I usually have a level of confidence in whether or not a game will be good when it hits. TERA though I'm not sure, although I'm a fan and eagerly awaiting its release. Sure it may not be great, but its going to be one of the first high budget titles attempting to change the format of MMOs. Honestly I haven't much faith in DCUO and I simply cannot play the tried and true 3 Role (Tank, DPS, Healz) MMO anymore. It doesn't matter how good it looks, whether or not is has player housing, if it had 132 races and 57 classes, its still a 3 role MMO. I'll understand it in 5 minutes and know it inside out in about a month.

Desperate for something new and I hope this is it, don't think I'm alone on that either.

P.S.- Cyberpunk or Steampunk woulda been nice.. take what I can get though :P
