Dec 31st 2011 2:38PM (Massively)
Eve, woot! This entire year has been a milestone for Eve when it came to news stories!
Though SWTOR GOTY? *rolls eyes* I guess SPRPG's with MMO tacked on are all the rage nowadays!

Isengard was a great xpac thogh like jimr9999us mentioned it was a little incomplete but still a great addition! Gogo Wildstar and Guild Wars 2!

Fallen Earth 1.9.2 debuts tomorrow, expands fast travel options

Aug 9th 2011 1:21PM (Massively)
Fast travel in FE will be a welcome thing for many people, including myself. As much as I enjoy hopping on the bike, into the interceptor or even the relaxing gallop of Abacus. Sometimes I just want to get to point A immediately to get what I can done within the time I have available to play.

FE’s world is expansive and hides a lot of neat things if you explore. The game is simply going to cater to the folks who want to play but don’t have a lot of time to spend traveling upwards of 15 minutes to get to an objective, as well as those who want to explore the wastelands regardless of time.

Square Enix unveils Final Fantasy XI Ultimate Collection: Abyssea Edition

I recall those steep leveling curves. Took quite sometime to get that Bard up to 40, let alone the 1v1 level cap quest. Ah the good ol' days. Though I through with elitist mentality that rots the social aspect of this genre of gaming. I certainly give hats off to Square for trying to recoup financial loss through this nice little package and hope it encourages some new prospective players to give it a try!

The Daily Grind: Has something in-game ever creeped you out?

Apr 20th 2011 1:15PM (Massively)
@OmegaDestroyer

System Shock, man that brings me back. Awesome.

For the record nothing in an MMO has unsettled me Just seems that's not really the target, more along the world of pillows type of deal with swishy swords and behind the scenes gruesomeness told via text.

Now things like Amnesia, Pnumbra, the Shock series, Dead Space, first time playing Doom being 13 years old in 1993. ....

The Daily Grind: What big reward was a big disappointment?

Feb 18th 2011 10:07AM (Massively)
Much like the above posters,
-Aion which turned out to be quite a dissapointment despite my initial excitement to try it out.
-WoW dailies and rep grinds which really didn't net me anything other than cheevo points.
-Runes of Magic for a month.
-Fallen Earth, just not enough to do there once I maxed out.
-LotRO, loved it at the start, couldn't stand it after 6 months.
-Rift will be the next one, enjoying it so far, lets see the staying power!

The OverAchiever: More Glory of the Cataclysm Hero

Jan 28th 2011 9:19AM (WoW)
Oh and I forgot to mention that we used Prismatic Elixirs, in conjunction with druid mark and shammy nature resist totem or hunter nature resist aura (sicne it stacks) cuts the nature damage down a lot, I think it was about 35%-40% overall reduction.

The OverAchiever: More Glory of the Cataclysm Hero

Headed South was the achievement I had the most difficulty on but once we worked out the kinks with our group it worked out beautifully.
We are Prot Pally (me), Resto Shaman, Rogue, and any other two types of DPS usually Boomkin, Mage, Warlock or Hunter came with us.

The rogue went up to Siamat by himself so that he could vanish and despawn the boss, we all went up and got into positin and when Siamat spawned the shammy would hit first and pop fire elemental which seemed to confuse Siamat as he started to move around a little and didn't put his shield up. While everyone else popped all dps cooldowns and got himdown to about 80%-85% health.

From there it was just inturrupting the minions and kiting them to the outside platformand killing them there so the storms wouldn't bother melee while the tank kited around the servants and 1 range helped get them down to 10% health each. When Siamat was at 50% we killed the third spawn first then had whomever was to get the achievement (No more than 2 at a time) after the bouncing we'd kill the last two right away get the debuff and we'd pop Heroism/Timewarp/Lust and put all damage reduction cooldowns on the targets with the debuff and burn the boss with about 10-15 seconds left to spare on the debuff. Yay!

The Daily Grind: What game did you hate until you tried it?

Nov 9th 2010 10:09AM (Massively)
Fallen Earth.

I always find the post-apocalyptic worls interesting. Seeing it as basically a Mad Max MMO with a bunch of funky sci-fi storyline about clones and the ability to craft basically anything in game was intriguing. I hated it at first due to the terrible animations and poor combat and the always brown color scheme, so I let my free trial run out. I went back to the game about 3 months ago and found myself really enjoying it this second time through.

The Mog Log: World of Craft-craft

Minecraft is a lot of fun. But still my favorite crafting in an MMO is Fallen Earth.
