Compared tot he stuff now, armor sets from WoW. PvE/PvP sets were all the same, with different colours. Wasn't bad then, but looking at all the awesome now, the old stuff just looks... lame.

Practically, it's a good idea, cheaper than subbing for too long.

But it also points out a pretty big flaw in subscriptions. My mate has 700 hours played on Mw2, and only payed 90 bucks.

If I play 3 hours a day, I'm getting like 1/3 of the value.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea, I don't expect them to give the whole game away for free, and at least they aren't hiding the fact you don't get everything.

But it's not true F2P (or even cashshop free to play). It's runescape style free to play.

No matter how good you play, you won't have as much as the paying customers.
