Dec 22nd 2011 12:20PM (Massively)Over and over explaining that you need to sub to get 30 days.
Those who insist this is new to mmo's please list your mmo's that allow you the 30 days without subscribing.
All the games I have experience with WoW, AoC, Rift, LoTRO all required a subscription before the free time was granted.
The mistake was catering to the lowest denomination for marketing and profit... you dredge the bottom you are going to get stuck with some lowbrows.

Dec 22nd 2011 11:04AM (Massively)You ever been to a concert?... what was that thing... that line at the gate... oh yea! What you are waiting in line for to buy a ticket! Instead of doing it ahead of time and now you are surprised it takes time to complete the transactions?
Everyone might show up but that doesn't entitle everyone to get serviced at the immediate same time.
Welcome to the real world vampero.

Dec 22nd 2011 10:44AM (Massively)The Daily Grind: Do you engage in forum PvP?
Dec 1st 2011 10:17AM (Massively)Sorry for the double post but I wanted to mention that at the TOR boards as we were discussing, that my best guess is that the company game plan for community management on the forums is based on the fact that Bioware anticipates bringing in a whole lot of "fresh gamer blood" with this title.
Perhaps casuals who are only familiar with consoles or browser games...
Whereas many seasoned and jaded gamers, especially in the PC realm can to be aggressive and elitist and knowing this Bioware has instructed the policy to be one where "everybody can be safe" on the forums, providing leeway for truly "new blood" as to not scare them off.

Dec 1st 2011 10:09AM (Massively)I agree, the feeling at those boards is the same feeling I get when I go to Disney Land/World.
It's overly geared to cater to a politically correct point of view, where idiots are tolerated and anyone who happens to respond to them in a frank and honest manner are at risk of receiving infractions. As a result the forums are awash in stupid, redundant posts where critical thinking is not encouraged.
