Mar 21st 2012 4:58PM (Massively)No they aren't, gear is completely different in the two games. One of them you are literally buying power. In GW2 all gear at max level will have the same amount of stats. The only difference is appearance and stat distribution. The actual stat value in cumulative will be the same. RoM has a HUGE difference in power in different levels of gear.

Pay 2 Win means you have to pay to not only be competitive, but usually you have the advantage. This is exclusive to combat. Whether in competitive pvp or in pve. Paying to win in a fashion show is beyond ludicrous.
