The Daily Grind: What's your most memorable MMO quest?

Dec 19th 2010 1:30PM (Massively)
Chains of Promathia from FFXI has so far above any other questline in terms of epic scale and difficulty that I can't even compare it.

If I had to choose an individual part.. it'd either be the airship fight or three paths.

So how does this work, I got a beta key and registered it awhile ago but they said that key just gives me a -chance- to get in? How will I know if I got in? Dayum shame

You can't really blame him too much, there's not exactly a slew of stuff to post about this game.

I like the update myself but I wish they'd introduce a way to put all of your bags in just one window rather than making 6 individual ones, although my biggest problem with this method is that when the screen would change sizes I'd have to reposition my bags, which doesn't happen anymore because of this last update that re-anchors them properly. A bag search-feature would be nice, it's kind of annoying when I can't find a quest charm in my inventory but otherwise I think it's perfectly fine.

This doesn't surprise me, I play on Atonia Bayle and it's decently populated but nothing super huge. I've always wondered how the people felt that played on the empty servers.

1. You can restore accounts through the return to vana'diel thing

2. Pick a server with more people on it

3. The starter towns are empty because there's no reason to be in them

To improve the game? One of the best things about MMORPGs is how they're capable of being improved over time.

How's the population looking in this game? During the trial it reminded me a lot of Everquest 2 (which I love) and since I can get them both on a station subscription.. I might just do that.

Week in Review: Twelve million gamers can't be wrong

I find combat in Everquest 2 much more fun than WoW's, because it's essentially the same thing except you have about 4x the abilities and don't use such a small rotation on every class.
