@HasteMakesWaste

Now I might not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I did read in the article twice, "ALL Video Games, Accessories, Guides & T-Shirts."

Further, I don't think there has ever been a sale in videogametime that they have ever offered B1G1 50% for handles/systems. (Well maybe the VirtualBoy)

Someone teach the guy who's playing the game to use command groups. Every 5-10 seconds he's highlighting all of his attack units instead of just pressing 1-0

Normally they setup a wireless access point type thingy that broadcasts within the store. When you turn on the game you will see a new selection below the continue game, new game, etc selection (I forget what it says). That will put the "prize" into your existing game. From there, start up your normal game and go to one of the blue pokestores and talk to the man in green, he will give you your present.

Note: You will have to have recieved the national pokedex to be able to claim any gifted item.

Sam's having a terrible day in this new Splinter Cell: Conviction trailer

Feb 18th 2010 3:57PM (Joystiq)
The trailer is kinda deceiving also, if you don't know the back story. She died in her 20's due to a drunk driving accident... trailer makes it look like she's a child and gets taken/killed in a home invasion.

Metareview: Army of Two: The 40th Day

Jan 13th 2010 7:41PM (Joystiq)
I didn't choose bad morality options, but all of the bad morality usually had some type of monetary or weapon attachment reward. The good morality choices had no reward. I was hoping for some type of story reward (i.e. Bioshock), but got nothing. I do however recommend saving the civilians, it's the opposite of the bad morality story line options, where saving a civilian gives you $/mods and not saving gives you nothing.

So basically, let the russian rape the girl, let the kid shoot a gun and nearly kill himself, kill the other merc, but save the civilians.

After reading game informer's review, it really hits it on the nail, I would definitly say make this a rental and not a purchase.

Metareview: Army of Two: The 40th Day

Jan 13th 2010 6:32PM (Joystiq)
Just my personal review, I found the game to be around a 6-7 out of 10. I just completed it about 30 minutes ago.

Pros
- Graphics are improved.

- Partner AI in single player is improved.

Cons
-The plot/storyline is non-existant, you get a little to no explanation of what is going on, other than the city is being destroyed.

-There is not alot of differences in weapons due to the modifications that can change the profile of the weapon.

-I really enjoyed the contract and subcontract options in the previous Ao2, in 40th Day you get money for completing a chapter, for no reason, since there are no contracts and you are just progressing through the town.

-I found the game to be relatively short, with a 4-5 hour playthrough with little to no challenge on normal difficulty.

-Morality decisions hold no consequence that I could tell, I chose the good choices in every decision and basically short changed myself out of alot of $, but got nothing in return by the end of the game.
