FTP is the only subscription model my wife and I will use.The current economic state of the US and the world economies demands we spend less and save more.
I played Aion in beta...got the top end version at retail..and leveled 2 characters to 25+ and others to lower levels.I wanted to play the game for the rvr.I have never encountered a more poorly done mess(I'm being kind) when I entered the rift to xp.I don't know if it's been 'fixed" or not. My impression is the devs are clueless about what passes for polished high quality rvr even though the gold standard(DAOC) has been out for years and all they had to do was emulate an outstanding rvr oriented game.It will take a significant effort ..if ever to get me back to even try it.
As an x 5 year DAOC vet....I still search for a game that approaches what DAOC had.I was in WAR beta and saw that disaster coming. If any of you see any new games that seem to offer the promise of a DAOC like experience...please let myself and others know.
