@ Deadalon "No future as a sub based game" LOL

It kills you guys that the game is doing well. I don't mean doing well by WoW standards but normal MMO standards. It kills you that we are loving the game and sub numbers are growing. It kills you that these small packs (yes they are packs) are bringing people back in droves! It kills you that this is the best PvP MMO on the market.

F2P will not work for WAR. The game is not going anywhere any time soon so move on, seriously.

You guys can keep hating WAR or come back to it. Or should I say, try it for the first time.

To you and everyone else:
Don't pay if you don't want to. Problem solved. No one cares about your opinion of subscription numbers or your opinion of the state of the game.

The game is healthy and fun for those of us that play. This is paid content and more than just paid renown ranks. If any of you actually played the game or followed it in the slightest you would know they are doing smaller more frequent content packs rather than the traditional expansion pack per 2 years.

I know it's the "cool thing to do" to bash WAR but the game is better than ever and has more than just few subcribers.

So, in summation: Don't pay if you don't want to. You can't competently comment on the state of the game if you aren't an active player.

Deadalon? Hello? Where are you?

Pandemic is right the game is thriving. They need to come up with a good solution for Badlands though. It's just a little too crowded and it's killing/stressing that server with lag and other issues. I am sure they are diligently working to fix it.

If you had read the letter instead talking out of your a$$ you would have seen that patch 1.4 (which is the RVR pack) hits the PTS this month. Oh wait, I forgot who I am replying to so carry on making false uninformed statements about a game that you don't play.

Why do you and others hate that this game is a lot of fun for a lot of people. In your eyes they messed up the IP but I know people who think they nailed it. Ive been playing MMOs for many years and I have never seen such blind hatred for a game that the majority of you do not play or have not played since their 30 days ran out at launch.

If we are loving the game and are having fun why does that bother you so much? I have many theories as too why this is but it's pointless.

This game is not dying regardless of you, ranknvile and others say. It is on the increase and mods, pauser sites, raptr, xfire and the others are not an accurate population counter.

What does it matter if the game only has 500 active players? As long as it's fun and profitable what do you care?

What does it mean? lol

You know nothing if you haven't played in months. I am citing one zone on one server. there are three other tiers with many more zones not including scenarios.

You can not show links to raptr or xfire. A very very small percentage of players use those programs. They prove nothing.

The pauser shows active players. It does not show unique players in a given day/week/month.

Is WAR perfect? No.
Is war the best RvR/PvP experience you'll find in an MMO? Yes IMHO.

WAR is doing better with every patch with out a doubt. I just don't get the hate and vitriol from people for a game they don't play.

Do you ever say anything factual about this game.

-Dwindling player base? Show me the numbers. I don't have to show numbers I simply log on to my server and it is so overpopulate lately that they have halted all new account creation and transers to that server.

- A few hundred people? There were a few hundred people in Chaos Wastes just on Order Fri Sat and Sun. A few weekends ago, according to several peoples addons, there were 535 destruction vs 365 Order. Not to mention the other Warbands that seperate from the zerg to take advantage of the new AAO (against all odds) system.

This game is not about the individual. It is about mass scale RVR though.

Deadalon you can go away now. You have proven yourself to be ignorant about this game time and time again. We get it already, you hate this game stop trolling and play something that makes you happy if that's even possible.

Show me any MMO anywhere that is not in a constant state of evolution and I might agree with you. Nerfing or buffing a single (mirror) class is very tricky. If you go too far in either direction you can completely mess up the entire playing feild. I would always prefer an MMO developer to make small incremental changes as opposed to large sweepeing changes.

PS. Now we wait on Deadalon to tell us how bad WAR is this is yet another reason the game sucks...............

I apologize. I should not have said your article was trash because it is not.

It would have benefitted from a little more research though. WAR is in a great place and only getting better. I agree with your assessment of Deadalon as well.

I will never understand the hatred of this game. If you don't like WAR then simply go away (I'm looking right at you Deadalon). This is why I no longer even visit Massively. That article is pure trash. The only reason I even came to massively today was because of some tweets I recieved.
