@Baby Choo Choo And you've obviously never played any of NCsoft's games. Haha.

En Masse comments on NCsoft TERA lawsuit

@Baby Choo Choo I never said I had a problem with it or anything. Just that they suck at managing their games.

Dunno why you added that into what I said.

Amazon.de begins Guild Wars 2 preorders, claims June 30th launch date

We've seen gamestop, amazon, a million websites post estimated release dates hundreds of times. They just use the 'fake' dates to allow for preorders to be sold. We've all seen it before and they all change the dates once the real release has been confirmed.

This date can give us an approximate of what quarter to expect the games release. I don't know if any quarter has been confirmed yet though. Just take it for what it is... not a real date.

@Macabre 13 I think they just want more hits than any sort of reaction.

Aventurine 'sprinting' toward Darkfall 2.0

After reading their blog entry, it sounds like they're making solid progress. Still waiting, but its good to hear progress is being made.

Disregard any neigh-sayers who claim "same old stuff" or whatever. Its a massive project that takes time, and the company isnt great at communicating with its playerbase. Just be patient.

Some Assembly Required: A Mortal Online interview

@pocketsdathief But this expansion brings it closer to being a fully function-able sandbox. These indie projects never have enough funding to fully develop their ideas before they're forced to release to the public.

That's just how the sandbox niche works. You either put up with the game for 1.5-2 years or wait until its more 'finished' by one's own standard.

@Norcii This is how indie sandboxes work though. There's no way in hell they're gonna have enough funding to finish a project witch such a huge scope (the project never ends really, as stated in the interview, you can always add more sand in the box).

These games all release early and have a rough 1-2 years before they shape up into what they originally envisioned as. And even then, there's still more to be added to a sandbox.

The updated UI is probably the most alluring thing to me. Will revisit sometime.
