The newer gen laptops are becoming smaller and smaller...my sister just got one maybe 1/4 screen size of what I bought at full price a year ago. Although its convenient, we will see a drop in laptop gaming simply because that industry is catering to people who want them smaller, not gamers who want performance parts and bigger screens. Laptop gamings days are numbered.

I own the game, not subbed right now but that's due to my pc not running the game very well. The only game I can really run smoothly presently is WoW so I'm kinda trapped, but CO is a pretty fun game. Millennium City has to be one of if not the best looking mmo city currently. Interesting powers, fun bosses, fun travel powers and loads of creative costumes running about. Just wish I had my new pc up and running ( few more months )

And now we see the point of this mmo.

Name me 1 persistent online shooter in the past 10 years that looked as fun to play and was presented as well as this one. Dont cite any console games either, those are different animals. Gimme 1 good mmofps comparison that does Firfall justice and i'll stop posting.

This is exactly the type of game I been waiting for, throw in some pvp zones and you have yourself the 2011 winner imo. The grapchis are excellent, not sure why people are complaining...a game of this scope would destroy most pc's if they went the realistic graphics route.

Multiple accounts. Most serious contenders in EvE run more then 1 account, a hauler character to compliment a miner, a salvager for a mission runner, the list goes on and on. You can make so much money doing things that way you could pay for the 2nd account with the extra dough. Some people even take it to the next level and run 1 man mining operations using several toons for all the different responsibilities , seeing 5 miners/2haulers/2 armed escorts all being controlled by 1 person is not uncommon.

You can make enough cash doing things that way to easily pay for all the extra accounts, all it takes is a small initial investment then you're set. Im pretty sure thats where alot of those 250k + accounts are really being used for.

Twitch based space combat is ftw, I know alot of people like eve's style but theres alot of us like myself that enjoy manually flying and shooting....in some ships you can even have a buddy work the turrets while you fly the ship. I hope Bioware goes for twitch vs the /range /fire garbage.

WoW at #10 while Eve is #3? Ok...I'm just as bored as the next guy of WoW, but to say its #10 is ridiculous.The game is responsible for making the mmo genre mainstream, its features set industry standards, and in alot of ways WoW is the true Everquest 2 in that its the 2nd great milestone for mmo's. Sometimes the need to hate whats popular becomes obvious in some of these lists.

Amazing. EvE online is the sleeping giant of mmo's, when walking in stations is introduced ( late 2010 or early 2011) its going to be a serious threat to the likes of WoW and SWTOR.
