I have to disagree with you. EvE is perfectly suited for roleplayers because you don't need to worry about being out of character. Everything you can do or say in game can be interpreted as in character. Even the FTL chat functionality is explained in the lore because you shouldn't be able to instantly comunicate with others that are many light years away.

Now as for the rest of your comment I agree wholeheartedly. Eve is amazingly engaging and boring at the same time. I love the game but when you start to pay attention to what you are doing, the actual interactions that are taking place, it's a no or very low action game.

That being said I will, as always, return to the space opera.

You make it sound like CO was a total disaster at lauch. This is far from the truth. The game was great at launch. It was a little buggy but all MMOs are at launch. A few public quests didn't work right but overall it was totally playable and fun too.

You can't really compare CO to CoX like you do under "Many faces, same character". With a classless game this is always the case, people will gravitate towards the best set of abilities since there are no restrictions. CoX had classes those classes allow for differentiation. CO does not, and although they have added incentives to specialize lack of differentiation will always be an issue in a classless system.

I can't wait for the first wave of gamer deaths from 3+ hours of raiding while using Natal.

This does not bode well for the future of ToR. If an MMO can be played with the simplistic controls of an XBox controller I fear it may not have the depth and complexity to keep the readers of Massively interested for longer than that first month. This might be a deal breaker...
