I was thinking the same thing. I haven't seen them tout their sub numbers since they hit the 300k mark about 3 years ago. It seems to me they have fewer now than when I started playing, especially after monaclegate.

US courts are pretty strict on protecting IPs. If the Korean ruling that this game was developed with stolen code is upheld, I won't be surprised if this game is banned in the US.

Sorry, not buying the "we won't ever add end game armor" bit. If some beancounter thinks they'll make more money selling it than they will lose by people quitting over it, you can bet your ass they will.

So...tier III is equal to about, what...level 20 gear? How long do you think it will be before higher tier armor is available?

I had considered keeping my LotRO sub with TOR, but they just lost another sub. Not quite as money grubbing as AoC, but still the last straw for me.
