So, yeah, warriors and priests should be better at their jobs because they are "pure" classes. Uhm, ok. But it's ok that priests can spec shadow and be a very welcome addition to the raid and warriors can spec fury/arms and go for some crazy DPS. Yeah, it's fine, of course, because pure classes deserve to be flexible whereas stupid damn hybrids deserve to be master-of-none. You know what? The best thing for Blizzard could do for WoW is do delete all freaking hybrid classes. This way those stupid discussions would end. And while we're at it, there's no need for four "pure" DPS classes as well. Hunters, rogues, mages, warlock? We only need one tanking class (of course warrior), one healing class (of course priest) and one DPS (of course mage). THEN, maybe then, everyone would be happy. Amen.
The shaman class is very buggy on the beta server right now. The question is, if Blizzard addresses the issues and if Blizzard fine tunes our abilities. My biggest fear is that they will run out of time again, telling us that they will fix our issues in an upcoming patch. Of course they will address issues of the more popular classes first. So at some time point they will tell us that we might have to buy the next add-on ... >:-)
Interesting comments! Personally I really think the LFG tool in WoW is a big pain in the ... For example let's assume I play my healer and I like to go into an instance. Actually I do not care about which instance. Any instance would be ok. Now, the funny thing is, you cannot do this in WoW. This stupid tool wants a specific instance. But what if someone searches a healer for a raid? What people do is they spam LFM healer on the trade or other channels. Now let's take it a step further. Assume I am on my twink because I do not want to stand around waiting for a group. WoW's LFG tool will not work for me because, frankly, it only allows me to register for instances of my own level. Why can't I log in, open the tool and do a quick scan about what is going on? That would be cool! Like: Hey, they're search a healer for Kara. Or: Hey, they're searching a tank for Scarlet Monestary. Let's relog. That would be cool!

What a nonsense. Maybe you as a hunter. But plate helps n-o-t-h-i-n-g againts magic and healing can be easily interupted. And pallies have no ranged attack nor charge. Kiting a pally as a hunter is so easy - l2p :-P

But you can deal damage and go solo damn good without respecing.

Then we can't we wear staffs? And have you ever seriously compared the healing spells of a pally against all the other healing classes? As a matter of fact the pally has the weakest healing spell (FoL) of all. Yes, it's very mana effective. But in PvP FoL is a joke (compared to the Shaman's LHW).

And hunters since Naxx as well :-P I do not want to be a DPS class. But I do not want to be forced to stay at the back and spam two damn buttons all the time. This is not the idea of a "hybrid" imho.
