The Anvil of Crom: Building a Khitai PC
Aug 8th 2010 1:11PM (Massively)I've spent easily more than $7,000 at Newegg over nearly a decade and have only every had positive experiences with their customer service. (and I don't work there/know anyone who works there/have any financial interest in them)
If you're going to bash Newegg in a public, psuedo-journalistic forum, maybe you should provide more information? Or just write an article about it? It seems personal, petty, and unprofessional.

Jul 31st 2010 10:52AM (Massively)In SWG there was so much variability when making an item that it was nearly impossible to make an item with the same stats twice, unless you used the same materials for creation.
I'm sure the item database was a nightmare to maintain, but it makes everything else I've ever played shallow and boring by example. I wish I knew who designed the bioengineering stuff, it would be nice to follow their career :)
The Daily Grind: Which MMO has the best crafting?
Jul 31st 2010 9:16AM (Massively)I can still remember the name of the guy who made these awesome weapons the first few months of the game on Syclla. And I remember spending hours gathering DNA samples and then experimenting with the creature crafting stuff for bioengineering... and loving it.

Jul 12th 2010 6:21PM (Massively)It was obvious months ago that these are baaaaaad people.
Shame, if they had introduced a "free from level 1-15 and pay 15$/month after that" option I would still be paying to play it. Instead, they just continually introduce pay barriers to play, that (when last I looked) add up to >15$/month for people who play more than 20 hours a week.

Feb 24th 2010 10:28PM (Massively)I think they should have yanked the CS right away, but they didn't then so it doesn't make much sense to do it now.
FWIW I was about to uninstall after reading Lobotomists post, but after actually listening to the interview in the podcast I've decided to keep playing until I see the final costs are.
