People bring up the real world too much in MMO's already. It would be okay if everyone that likes to talk politics would take it out of the world I enter every day to get away from the seriousness of the real world. I just don't see that happening.
I think this stunt was just another stunt of the Blizz marketing arm. Drop a huge bomb to draw attention and withdraw it. That is just some dirty tactics, it seems Blizz just wants to to terrorize the community to try and liven up its dieing support.
The server "Community" has been reduced to a very small local economy. The only thing really truly limited to a server or "Community" is the Auction House economy.
I would still rather take a 30 minute debuff than deal with the crap some people who have never done anything but DPS in game. They can wait for a new tank and I can go do something more productive.
