@Silverangel It's so great to see regular updates again after so much down time. I've always been curious about the 'Brown Lands'-I could never figure out what they looked like by looking at the map. It'll be good to see Turbine's take on them.
I thought that they would be going into Mirkwood because of the new Hobbit movies. The Anduin stuff sounds fascinating tho-it could go north all the way to Angmar and Mt.Gundabad which is where it's Mouth is.
@(Unverified) $300 million is what I had heard. If Rift cost $100 million then 300 for SW-TOR seems about right. Rift didn't even have to worry about IPs it being original.
This is rather disappointing. Maybe it'll be a newer version of Dreamworld. In 3-D LOTRo is tolerable(sky's are a mess and render in front of mountains for example), Rift bad, and Age of Conan absolutely incoherent and impossible to look at.
I did with Age of Conan. I liked it well enough but was more involved with other games-I stayed subbed because Trolls were so down on 'Failcom' that it irritated me so I figured I'd give them some extra time to bring Conan around.
Levels are an archaic holdover from RPGs. An MMO has no need of Levels at all if you can have 1 Level and gain experience for various skills. Levels are just pandering to the WOW crowd.
@Space Cobra I play a KDF almost exclusively ( The Fed is so-o-o boring!). Raising the level that one can play in the KDF is the only thing I don't like about the relaunch-it was hard enough getting people to do it even before. And having a Fed version of a Klingon ( as with Worf) made it even harder.
I love the camera effects that they use-the blurring when you go fast, the bullet-time when it's slow. So looking forward to this one. Yeah, the breasts are a bit much-but the look is pretty much what you get in a Korean game. No surprises there.
