This is NOT going to0 be an MMO. I recall the only interview Massively did with Jack Emmert about this, and they said it was the last because the title was NOT going to be an MMO.
So, I have higher hopes for it than Champions and another C-Store debacle
It does feel around the 52 era...however looking at Tim Drake, as shown in the game makes it seem much earlier than that. He looks to be no more than 15...maybe 16 if you push it.
That would put him somewhere around Graduation Day.
Until you look at Wondergirl...who seems way past that time.
It really makes it almost impossible to put the gamer into a specific time frame from current continuity.
I prefer the controller to the keyboard and mouse on this game as well.
I specifically think it works better since it was designed around this type of control scheme.
The mouse and keyboard can be used, but they are not the native format. This may upset a lot of the PC crowd who dislike using a game pad on a PC at all...but the reality is that it is just a design decision and that it makes little sense to completely re-design the control scheme for different platforms.
Especially when you consider that they originally wanted both platforms to play on the same servers. I don't think they have completely given up on that happening in the future either.
My USB receiver is my favorite purchase for the PC in ages. I love being able to use my 360 controller on the PC. Since I am also playing on the PS3, it was not a hard adjustment for me to make, and it actually has me using a lot of the keyboard shortcuts and such while I play on the PS3 as well.
@Germaximus I feel the same way (Although I haven't gotten a character to level 30 yet since Beta ended...altitis and just generally helping folks out rather than leveling being the main reason)
I am REALLY looking forward to the, "monthly themed updates" RadarX said was the plan.
The game is going on week 3...so if they are doing their first monthly update I think we should be hearing about it in the next week or 2 at the most.
@Liltawen Amen. I think the average is closer to 10 minutes. It could be even faster but sometimes you have to actually wait for spawns to happen, cutscenes to play, and doors to open. (Look I know there are 5 robonuts outside the door after I take out the first guard...just open the door already and let me at em!)
I really enjoyed the writing style of this review. I got the game from Gamefly yesterday, but have not spent any time in it yet because of this addiction to something called DCUO...
Anyway, I'm glad I know what to look forward to when I try to put some time in.
I'm still disappointed that they took out the console/debug ability from the 360 and Ps3 versions. I really liked that about the first game.

ESRB rates Witcher 2 for Xbox 360 [update 2: CD Projekt responds]

Xbox 360 has biggest non-holiday month ever
Mar 11th 2011 12:49PM (Joystiq)Some must buy 360 exclusive titles:
Halo (Obviously if you are a FPS fan) titles
Forza 2/3 (If you are a fan of racing titles)
Saints Row 1 & 2
Fable 2 & 3
Dead Rising 1 & 2
Obviously there are many other titles (several I would rank way above these) but those were also available on the PS3...so I am not listing them
I own both systems, and generally prefer my 360 over the PS3 (Probably because I have only had a PS3 for less than a year and the 360 since 2007)
Go to town on the Platinum Hits for $19.99 each and you can quickly develop a top notch library.
