Breaking: 300k Warhammer Online subscribers as of December 31, 2008

Feb 3rd 2009 10:52PM (Massively)
I think that isn't a bad number, considering that WotLK launched pretty close behind.

I'd still be playing WAR if my system didn't have the "random crash an hour" issue.

I'm going to have limited bandwidth for the next couple of months, but am fully looking forward to playing WAR on my next system.

There are many others like it, but this one is mine.

Blood for the Blood God! Skulls for his throne?

Love Bloodthirsters.

Blizzard's Jeff Kaplan blocked from the WAR Beta, notes server imbalances

Oct 16th 2008 8:40PM (Massively)
Sounds more like Jeff is trying to give a "Backhanded Compliment" than say anything positive about the game.

My question is; if he's on a server with his friends why is he having to solo the PQ's?

Elemental Shaman talent builds for Patch 3.0.2

As an Elemental Shammy I saw no reason till after Wrath comes out to change my spec. Maybe in a month I'll change it to skills that I'll be able to use.

Looks like Mythic is going to extend.

Mark Jacobs just posted over at VN.

WAR downtime and early retail key deadline

So far Mythic isn't impressing me at all.

They are appologizing for the sarcastic way they delivered the news over at http://www.warhammeralliance.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1600157#post1600157.

But they AREN'T appologizing for the fact that they have done a bait and switch as far as the activation date goes.

I'm a Mythic fan, paid for up to 4 DAoC accounts at a time over 3 or 4 years, and they are making me angrier by the minute with how they are handling this.

WAR downtime and early retail key deadline

I guess I'm not the only one in this boat.

I've been waiting almost 50 minutes on the phone to reach an actual human in Mythic's account management department.

It is a huge middle finger to the player base that ordered from other retailers.

You don't partner with online retailers that will be shipping out the game and then require the CD key less than 36 hours after lauching the game.

I never would have ordered from Amazon if Mythic hadn't originally said that you'd have till the 22nd to put in your code.

I tried to contact Mythic via phone last night to offer to go ahead and pay for the first month of play now but I couldn't even get a live person on the phone.
