Its totally wrong of anyone to threaten this guy or his family it makes you no better than he is . What I suggest if you dont like what hes done is emailing a link to the story to the Madison Wisconson police and inform them of his activities and let them deal with him . Its far better for the authoritys to deal with his crime . Also contact CCP and encourage them to do the same .

@zuchaka Why on earth would they want to play this then ? I cant imagine any children playing it . Wouldn't it be just as or more likly you would find them in a game like Warcraft where theres a lot of children playing ?

I wouldn't recognise one of these celebs if i saw them without the celeb picture next to them ( maybe with the exception of liam neilson ) . But this character creation is pretty amazing .

@Boardwalker If thats true then yes I would have outrage for that as well because people doing that are just as bad . But given I'm disgusted about this mans actions I have forwarded a news link about Alexander Gianturcos actions to Madison Wisconson police force . I'm sure there are laws against this even in the USA and he should be called to account as should CCP . I suggest anyone who agrees that this was wrong do the same and not resort to personal threats . Lets get him dharged with the crime hes commited and let him answer to his actions in a court of law .

I've enjoyed this game but to be honest I've played up a character in two months and I'm done with it . This would be a fine guild wars style buy to play game with optional extra content packs . Its still is holding subscribers but even on higher population servers its hard to get groupings and you can be on a planet playing with less than 20 people at peak times . Its not a faliure but it could do a lot better with a more realistic buisness model which really applys to pretty much every mmo except for WoW ( and make actually even apply to WoW very soon as well ) .

Have they allow free to players to chat in global or local chat yet ? the reason i gave up on the eu version of the game is that all you could do is /say and /whisper(only to people on your friends list) . It really seemed like very bad free to play conversion for this reason .

@NValca a 30 day ban for what happened is not appropriate . What happened could have caused the death of a player . Appropriate is a life time ban and presenting the evidence to the police because believe it or not there are laws against this sort of thing . I actually have emailed CCP already I think thier actions have been disgusting .

This is all pretty awful press for EVE . Its the first time I've heard of cyber bullying in an mmo although I'm sure its existed before . I'm not sure what nationality Alexander Gianturco is but had he succeeded in driving this player to suicide by his actions in the EU that would have opened him up to criminal prosection and landed him a possible prison sentance . Personally I think hes got the worst punnishment any cyber bully could ever have his names all over the internet and hes been exposed as a nasty peice of work . On top of this I would think this coverage will effect his real life . He sounds like a pretty smalll minded ,pathetic and immature individual to me . For gods sake its only a game your ment to be having fun in it .

I did have a look on Blizzards website today to see if the whole Mists of Pandoria had been a giant joke and they were going to annouce a massive gotcha and reveal the new expansion has nothing to do with Pandas what so ever . I wonder how many people did the same thing .

On a side note if aliens did ever want to invade the earth this would be the best day to do it .

@Graill440 The second you said it was a proven fact the story had nothing to do with the world made your post sound like gibberish . Maybe you can tell us who proved this fact and save face ? Or is it just a proven fact in your own head ? I would steer clear of saying it if you want any credibility .
