To let someone else influence your opinion of what you like and then bring you to thier side is a human trait. A weak trait at that, if you enjoy doing something weather it's playing video games or otherwise then no amount of external interferance should make you stop doing so. This is simply a mind set, those that are stong enough won't be concerned with what other do or say about thier preferencem, and the weak will band together because they are not strong enough to make thier own decisions.

I wouldn't be too quick too judge because if the steps are well thought out and not rushed I believe that this can be a whole new way of gaming. I mean if Blizzard was to announce a WoW television series do you think that it would fold in one season? the truth of the matter is that it would be another successful check mark on blizzards list of things to do. More than likely it may fail but like Aurickle said they are taking steps to inovvate the gaming wolrd and I for one would like to see just what kind of results they yeild from this venture.
