Lastly, the Harry Potter franchise is 13 years old. You have no clue (again) if it'll be considered a classic and continue to have an adult following such as LOTR and Star Wars.
TL;DR: Don't talk like your view on a series is the definitive view.

I don't care how much hate WAR gets, it will always be one of my favorite MMOs.
Pretty much the PVP from WAR placed in LOTRO. I'm also really fond of the character models from WAR (particularly the elves)

As it's been stated, just because they plan on following in world of warcrafts footsteps doesnt mean the game has to look as mediocre as the game it's modeling itself after.
