Well.. as a former "Community Manager" for a police officer magazine that had it's own website for it's readers (I did it for part time work), I can wholeheartedly confirm that it is indeed nothing more than a glorified forum moderator... all they do is ensure smooth operation of the forum and implement the features the owners want into the forum itself.

When I left the position, nobody really noticed or cared (nor should they have) and it certainly had no effect on the magazine - the guy who replaced me just took over and carried on as I was doing beforehand.

Community Managers have no say or influence in the company or it's content that they work for.... this guy's leaving of Bioware is 100% irrelevant to the game (as was my leaving as community manager for the police magazine). Sooo.. y'know... don't make such a big deal of it or read into this when there's nothing to read into... yeesh.

Bloody hell.. that Susan Calloway has the musical voice of a mythical goddess... it's a crime that I haven't heard of her until today.

I'm curious to find out more about how the game will work really... he said there's no leveling up or experience mechanic... so, it's like Team Fortress or something?

I play games to be immersed in a fictional place... nothing breaks immersion more for me than hearing "Hey hey all you out there in gamer land... wouldn't you just love to be munching down on a McDonalds lardo burger while you're busting caps in people's faces? Well you're in for a treat...."

Yeah... I'll be staying faaaaar away from this game.. .shame too cus I was mildly interested initially... I despise all forms of in-game advertising, be they single player or MMO.

Blizzards new fps mmo is not call of duty.. they said before it's a new IP entirely... Call of Duty is an existing IP.
