I have to go with EQ. So many memories there. I like the idea of Asheron's call, but I just couldn't get past the awful graphics. Sorry.

I never even touched Ultima.

MMO's were way more hard core back then. The sense of danger and wonder was almost palpable.

Phantasy Start Online on the Dreamcast. While not quite an MMO, it introduced me to cooperative online play. That was the gateway drug that led me to Everquest and started my addiction.

I doubt Blizz will release this and Diablo 3 (May15) close together. Releasing two games back to back will reduce the attention that each would hope to garner individually. Plus, there is Heart of the Swarm supposedly launching sometime this year as well, but that game seems to have fallen of the radar for some reason.

My best guess for MoP is around November / December. That would put it two years out from Cata which seems like a nice, round number.

MoP: December
DotA: Jan/Feb 2013

I think everyone saw something like this coming. I wonder what the chances are that anything will be released at all?

Speaking of which... Does anyone feel like this expansion is less significant than the last three? Maybe it's just me but it really seems like they are not hyping MOP nearly as much. Cata, WotLK, BC all felt epic in scope. I don't get that here for some reason. Just sayin...

Unethical? How in the world is it unethical to change your business model? They are still offering a product that consumers have a choice to buy (or not). Heck, it's not even a product that people need, it's a damn video game for god's sake.

Also, exactly who is being exploited here? Seriously man, you need to get a dictionary before you start talking about things you don't understand.

It's been said before but it bares repeating: Video game companies are in business to sell a product, make money and satisfy investors. That's it. Get over yourself.

RVR is where the fun is in this game. Gave me some of my best gaming memories ever.

Outstanding news! I can't wait! I really hope this brings in players and the support this game deserves.
