As a life long Devils fan since they moved to Jersey, I was shocked to see Lou actually sign such a deal. THis is obvoius because Vanderbeek has an open wallet and wants cups now. He promised the fans the team will do better and he saw to it that the Devils will never be 2nd fiddle to any team in the tri-state area. Thank You Mr.Vanderbeek!!.
I think Lou will ask Roly to void his no trade clause...and will be dealt to the Islanders along with Salvador for late round picks - Wang has the Isles at the bottom of the cap and must increase his cap number. I wouldnt be surprised to see Lou also get rid of Langs....and make Parise Capt. Langs is a loyal devil...but it is a business and he is an ufa next season...look for him to go back to Dallas where he will get a heros welcome. Dallas needs to do it after letting Madono go...strictly as a PR move and best friend and GM now ( former Devil ) JN will look to make the deal. With those gone..look for a shot of youth from Albany to fill the slots with many players moving back and forth as the season goes to keep people on their toes ( like last season). The Devils did great witheir AHL peeps as fillers last season and they were the reason the team did so great with all of the early season injuries and kept the Devils on top of the Power ratings for the 1st 1/2 of the season.
Lookout Pittsburg and Washington.....you arent the only teams with offensive depth anymore.....and Chi-town....enjoy the cup this summer..because its coming back to Jersey next year and many more to come

KHL = JOKE....lets look at the poor excuse of a league...a group of has beens and never was. Arena's the size of local ice rinks here in the states. Average seating is less then 8k per game league wide. do the math people...with the salaries the KHL pays vs.paying fannies in seats...it doesnt work. The KHL must have learned economics from Obama. As a NJ Devil fan for life, I hope he isnt a Devil...greed doesnt make a good player. Heart does..and he has none..its in his wallet. Parise is worth more 10x then anything Kovy can bring to the table. Save the money Lou and bring in people with heart that actually will bring balance. All that top heavy "talent" didnt do the Penquins or the Capitals much good this year did it? Hawks won with Balance

I wont ever play a soe title again.....they can keep adding content all they want...I played eq2 from beta up until 2 weeks ago......the treatment the csr's gave me on a character transfer was inexcusable.....I canceled my sub.....uninstalled the game and shredded my discs.
Love the game and the way it looks - hate the company. They need to re-do the entire csr staff before doing another expansion

Funcom = Epic Failcom

AoC born of big promises and zero delivered. Graphically sweet but painful to play such a broken piece of crap. AoC, the game without a doubt the single worst gaming community on the planet ( a mature themed game with the most childish behavior). Soon to have an equally broken expansion pack "The god aweful"
They can delete all fo my level 80 toons if they like...damn..it only takes a joke of three weeks to make one. I will never set foot in a funcom game again because of what they did to AoC. The people running funcom should be asking people not to come back to the game, but rather "would you like fries with that order?" or "paper or plastic?"...they are more suited to a minimum wage job not running a game company to the ground.
What Failcom will do next is make it a free to play type game....and people would still cancel out of the game.
Failcom...do us all a favor and just close your doors and stop ripping us off of our real hard earned cash....because if the real world acted like you...the prisons would be full..you thieves!!!!

I am always starting games long after launch and find myself in "lone wolf"mode....questing and grinding as fast as possible. I have only experienced a lot of help from others for n00bs in 2 games....WoW and LoTRO.....Rings is by far the best.....not only do they group with you but have had a ton of coin dropped in my lap to help further.....The communities of games is what really makes them shine.....best so far Rings..then WoW...then eq2.....worst I have ever seen in any game by far is Age of Conan....for a "mature themed" game...they have the most childish imature community....they game isnt what made me quitthat game...its the players....and I started that at launch..

Count me in.....LoTRO is the deepest game I have ever played.....and Mirkwood just makes it even better
