Or rather, I played for one month extensively and blew through all content on six different characters.
The game is just so content-light that it doesn't warrant a subscription fee from me. It's not something I can see myself playing for more than a month, so why should I subscribe to it?
I'd recreate my meta/pistols/mental hero, Misanthrope. An escaped supersoldier with an obsession with existentialism, transhumanism and Nietzsche, Misanthrope actively rejects his humanity and attempts to forge a distinctly "superhuman" identity, constantly battling with the intrinsic limitations of his own cognitive abilities.
@Floweringmind How many games besides those made by cryptic actually have a "mentor" system? The vast, vast majority of MMOs- especially successful ones- do not have a system to bring grouped players up to the same level, and I would not consider it a glaring flaw.
The superhero MMO genre has only had two companies working in it, Cryptic and SOE, so you can't really say what is a standard feature and what isn't with such a small sample pool.
