Massively's hands-on with Star Wars: The Old Republic Update 1.2

Mar 13th 2012 5:04PM (Massively)
Holy Jesus! They listen to me (or maybe the other thousands of people who had suggested it) about just copying Dominos design. The UI issue is the ONLY reason I'm not playing this game right now. Congrats BioWare, you just got another customer!

Poison was always a transgender character, and here's a documentary proving it

It's driving me out of my mind
That's why it's hard for me to find
Can't get it outta my head
Miss her, kiss her, love her
That girl is poison...

....never trust a big butt and a smile.

The Queue: Creepiest class combo

I love transmog, but although well designed, all the gears below Wrath level (and even some Wrath pieces) are horrendously low res and pixelated. Any chance Blizz have hi-res versions of these gears when designing it and simply implement them into the game?

I doubt they'll recreate hi-res version, but during the original designed, they must have work with higher resolution ones.

Rumor: Japanese Vita devs jumping ship, Sony responds

Feb 16th 2012 11:30AM (Joystiq)
I don't why Sony hasn't learn from their mistake with the PS3 launch. Like the PS3 launch, Vita is way too expensive for the masses. Sure, hardcore gamer like myself would buy it (I paid $650 for the original 60gb PS3), but a $250 handheld console with $50 games is just way too much in this day and age; considering what other portable entertainment options are available.

Worst update ever if you're using a ISP with bandwidth cap. Blizzard Tech Support Forum is going nuts with people having to download huge amount of data, with some people have to download as much as 16GB.

I "only" have to download 6GB, but that's still pissed me off to no end for not even a content update.

BioWare's Gabe Amatangelo speaks on faction imbalance, UI customization, Ops, and more

UI is a big deal to many people, bad UI could ruin a game (Final Fantasy XIV).

Here's the thing, no matter how a developer design a UI, they can't please everybody, but they can give us more options. And I'm not even talking about "controversial" issues like threat or damage meters. I just want to be able to rearrange and shape my UI anyway I want. I don't think that's asking too much.

I'll buy the game when they add total UI customization option (not just having bars on the side and bottom, I want to be able to configure my UI anyway I want - see "Dominos" and "kgPanels" addons for WoW).

I don't care if you have aversion to addons, but just give me more options to customize the UI and I'll buy your game, BioWare.

SWTOR's 1.1 patch adds anti-aliasing, level 50 Flashpoint

Any words on when they'll add more customization for the UI? I played the beta and was frustrated that I can't customize the UI anyway I wanted (i.e, move any bar/button to anywhere I wanted).

To be fair, WoW default UI sucks too, but at least you can totally re-customize it with addons.

Another tip is to save 5 combo points from the last trash before boss pull and Redirect them to the boss (you can do this on the first 4 bosses of DS).
