Sure there are games out there, and their accompanying publishers, that seem to ignore the player base but it is not our place as a player to force things into work. There are better ways to handle such things than making players suffer. Including just counting your losses and leave the game entirely.
Many people like myself have been at the hands of scrupulous developers who think along the lines of an almighty dollar and how to obtain it in different ways, but if you want to make a difference you should look at their bottom line and not the line of other players.
Hopefully this won't cascade to other games and other movements that would ultimately involve a collapse of the MMO F2P market and gamers as a whole will lose like the Anime industry did in Japan with Boot Leggers.

I would tell people to wait a month or so after release so that bugs and glitches can be fixed on the servers.
I for one think this is a great move forward for PWE and has very little relation to PWI. Each class has a purpose and the movement forward in levels is significant enough to make life interesting in game.
Some tips? Have a good time in game, the LFG feature for instances is great when you just need to get that one instance done, or need a little more xp.
Elites drop what you need for those "NPC Gears". And sometimes they are camped, just keep wandering around the map because each monster has an Elite version somewhere.
Don't cry if you don't get the Blue gear you want, i spent the better part of a week trying to get lvl 20 marksmen gear and not a single one dropped tha ti didn't have.
Oh and do your Rep stuff ASAP, lvl 30 is when you get your perm mount from them for 30g, but you need level 4 in the corresponding group.

Oh, and leave your "just like WoW" stuff behind. Just because its just like saying "There were raise boobs on EverChest"

When i was young and was playing EverQuest back during the Planes of Power expansions first few months. I was in high school and one of my teachers revealed that he was one of the servers more powerful Shamans. A day after that we spent a day power leveling me as a necromancer, which began a great future in a game i eventually gave up on.

to revive RF Online i would remove the PK feature and the mining only for the controlling race.

Other than that i've seen some great changes that are impressive and worth the upgrade.
