@kgptzac Well the neutral RR is going to be fixed once the new crime watch hits the game since it'll get you flagged as a suspect (or maybe blown up I forgot).
Nobody is going to want to be come a suspect for RRing since it'll make everyone in highsec able to kill you without charge.
@MorbidCuriousity He wasn't very high-standing community leader. He's a notorious griefer and scammer from somethingawful.com that leads a corporation which in their own words is out to ruin the game for everyone else.
Everyone knows this.
All this shows is how you can abuse democracy when the majority refrain from voting.
@Wensbane If you keep away from good games because their community contains griefers who'll do stupid shit you frankly can't be playing any multiplayer games.
Aside from that the EVE community at large is much nicer and mature than any other MMO community I've experienced since I started playing ultima online more than 12 years ago.
Sure there are bad seeds, but this is the internets.
@(Unverified) I'm not sure what your point is. People are mean to each other? Sure.
I guess some people would like CCP to act as your typical preschool teacher and laying down the law, and perhaps they would have if the guy hadn't stepped down from the chairman position before this CSM even took office due to the major community outcry.
So the bullying actually had consequences in EVE, unlike a similar event a few years back when people from the same somethingawful.com ruined an in game funeral event in world of warcraft.
But yes, people are mean, at least in EVE you can do something about it.
Most of them were already available on youtube, but nice to see them here anyways.
Frankly gives you a good insight into why CCP is the leading company when it comes to MMO's.
Sure their games are not for you if you want the whole "singleplayer in a persistent world" experience of themeparks, but they're frankly the only AAA company that does any kind of innovation.
@epilepticemu for it to work it would force you to join a player corp.
Eve is very old, it's from when MMOs evolved around playign with other people, and as such it's a very hard experience to get into if you're used to soloing your way to the "endgame".
The irony of it is that if you actually start by joining a newbie friendly corp, the learning curve isn't there at all but if you don't join a player corp you could literally be a newb forever.

Mar 29th 2012 1:58AM (Massively)30 days is a pretty long time for a CEO, and, he lost his seat on the CSM.
In all honesty nobody would have cared if he hadn't been the CSM chairman.
