The problem for STO fans was the extra time added not the $10 off.

Many games drop their price after launch. Since they do not even have a monthly price at the moment while they add new content I think cries of them trying to screw people over are not founded.

You do not always get demo's of FPS games to try them before you buy. People just seem to demand this for MMO's.

There is an option to buy this and never pay again so it is stuck in the middle somewhere.

AoC has been out nearly 2 years now. When you say last years computers I think you actually mean 3-4 year old machines.

By the time this comes out a two year old machine will run it.

You can not have great graphics and a shit pc. AoC runs fine on older machines as well. It just not look so nice, still looks nice though.
