Grand Chase: Heroes updates with new player housing

I used to really enjoy the game when they just had the first 3 characters out. It was really well balanced, with each character having one way or another to perfectly counter what the others might do in PvP. Once they started to add more characters, though, everything began to fall apart. The new characters weren't set up in a way that could be countered effectively, so you just had to beat them down or avoid them.

@Tiresias Lowered inhibitions does NOT make you say what you actually believe; it makes you say or do whatever crosses your mind. Add that to the euphoric affect of alcohol, and you end up with people saying and doing things that they know are a bad idea but don't care since their brain is pumping out enough of the 'pleasure chemicals' to make them think they are enjoying doing it; thus, the "What the hell did I just do?" effect.

@Tom in VA Hirelings were never meant to replace actual party members. They are just meant to be there when a group decides "Man, we can really use a healer/tanker/ect., but none seem to be biting, so lets just grab a bot". Honestly, I stopped playing GW1 because of heroes. They were too customizable and were in many ways better than actual party members, since you could just tailor them to meet your needs exactly and never asked for a share of the loot. Killed party play, in my opinion. I much prefer DDO's hirelings, which are much more of a Plan B than a "meh, who needs party mates?" feature.

@Kaoy I suppose a better way to word that last question would be "Is it possible to build a healer that far out weighs any other form of healing?" I know everyone has self heals and that a few characters and specs have party heals or proc-party heals, but what I want to know is if single-player direct heals are as dead as they claim?

I'm sure a good number of folk would like to know just how healing stacks. There has been hearsay and arguments aplenty, but with no real hard data or proof. I suppose the root of my question is "How does a character built to heal hold up?" Is it possible to build a healer that is so much better than other healers that party min-maxers will demand them for the harder content?

@Bhagpuss Localization means a lot more than just "translate and jack up the cash shop prices". Part of the process is completely rewriting the code into the localization team's tongue and fixing any obvious bugs. Given that the localization team has the benefit of know what bugs were the cause of the original versions demise, they will know what to look out for and probably be better prepared to nip them in the bud before they reach a level that could be called "impossible to resolve".
