I'm not really sure how some people are interpreting this post as a cave-in to the Goons when it's the exact polar opposite. This is more astounding to me than The Mittani's behavior. We're saying, quite literally and clearly, that we won't cave to the goons like other news sites did.
@jimr9999us Haha! Well, I admit we were kinda trolling you guys, but I knew it'd all be worth it at the end of the day when you found out we're really bringing it back :)
@Jergis You're always welcome to send us tips via the tips line linked at the top of the page at any time. This is something that anyone can do at any time about any indie game that they would like to see covered.
@MMOaddict Nah, we've had plenty of columnists who have asked to stop writing a column because they're bored with the game. I won't make them keep writing about something they don't enjoy, so they either set up a new column for another game they're enjoying, or drop the column. That's a big difference with us. Even though we're called "journalists", I like to consider ourselves more of MMO enthusiasts.
@MMOaddict That's the beauty of our team. We have a variety of people who like a variety of games. We don't livestream or even write about games if we don't enjoy them, unless it's for a First Impressions article, and then we'll let you know :)
@Tazuras Yeah, that's one thing I didn't really expand upon in this article, but when I say that I left the original village to start my own, I didn't mention how quickly I missed everyone in the village. And by the time I did come back, it was too late. That experience was a bit more emotional than I thought it would be, considering I've played so many other MMOs with so many other groups of people in the form of guilds. I guess when you build a village together, it connects you to other people differently than if you raid with them twice a week or whatever.
@Itoao Everyone uses XSplit for Twitch.tv. It has issues sometimes, but we've tried a lot of combinations and this seems to offer the most features while still being really user-friendly.
