Too many great memories to count in SB. It was a pvpers dream, at least for a while. I was on scorn from release until they shut it down for being just to haxed to live. The duping got completely out of control. At one point my thief stole a 40int rune(pretty much the highest value item in the game) from some dude, then turned around and sold it for, iirc, 80 MILLION gold.
Talk about hyper-inflation.

By far the silliest part was when members of a certain guild hacked the server and ported most of an opposing guild out to the middle of the ocean, with a crapload of ubermobs. They also filled the supposedly safe cities with super tough mobs, killing all the poor newbs. heh

I loved the hell out of yggdra forest in daoc, old frontiers. Was a long ass run from hibernia to the mid gates, but I would spend hours at a time ganking there.

When Jedi's first came out, I immediately switched to Bounty Hunter/TKA (and later with some better gear BH/Carbineer)

From then until I quit, I had several hundred Jedi kills, but the hate tells were in the thousands. LOL


I was a huge fan of the original multi-class setup. You could make such diverse characters, and it didn't even take that long to re-level.

KILL IT WITH FIRE

I'm still having a good time for the most part, with 2 lvl 30s. The one problem I have is SOE's complete lack of action to combat cheaters on the PC.(animation cancelling exploits that can kill several opponents in about 1 second) People are cheating brazenly, in arenas and out in the open, with no fear of being banned. Supposedly a patch is coming soon, containing a ton of fixes and more content, but I think a hotfix to fix the cheating would have gained them a LOT of goodwill.

Translate it to english and remove all the stupid cat ears from all the humanish races. Done. (this can be applied successfully to every asian game)

Reminds me of my favorite SWG character. There was a point early in the game where you could stack all the defensive skills from certain classes, mainly pistoleer/fencer, and be REALLY hard to kill.

I had a mon calamari def stacker, max fatness, minimum height, that i would dress only in a speedo. With all the defense bonuses, I didn't even need armor, and had a hell of a time PVPing, killing armored imperials while carrying only a gaffi stick and a speedo.

In DAOC, soon after release, I figured out how to sneak into albion and midgard from hibernia. I had only ever played hib so seeing spindelhalla and stonehenge was pretty cool.

And of course ganking people off of horses with my ranger when they thought they were safe was hilarious.
