Fingers crossed for a launch end of 2011, this is the one and only mmorpg that im excited about, if it doesn't launch im might stop gaming altogether - i need more than killing orcs and zapping space ships to keep me playing.
Im having loads of problems at the moment with the LOTRs service desk.... it's been 3 weeks and im still not marching to Mordor. I think the problem is that im not a king of the geeks just a normal bloke and half the feedback/help they send me completely baffles me. With DConline being playable via a console im starting to consider binning my PC altogether and moving to console games - only time will tell.
As im currently living in london i can say that there are many zombies and ghouls out and about - mainly on a saturday night :) Cant wait for this game to go live, booking two weeks of work on launch!
Ive been waiting for a game like this all my life. Not everyone is going to be spell bound by it, but for those of us who like imagination, fear, plot twists, excitement, and a truly original approach to mmorpg games will embrace it with open arms.
the days of killing ten rats and level chasing are coming to a close for me and thousands of others
I have encountered many WoW tourists in both CoH and LOTRs, they often pop up, get to about level 5 and then spam all the chat channels with how bad the game is. The fact is that there are many games that offer many different takes on mmorpg's and alot of them take a large percentage of WoW players out of their 'comfort zone' - which they whine about... Im just looking forward to month two of secret world when all the WoW tourists have left.
