Mar 18th 2012 10:41AM (Massively)Give me a solid ignore feature that hides a players nameplate and chat on all channels (including emotes) and I'm a happy camper. Aside from that, I love it when GM's give forced name changes to the real idiots, and choose something with a scarlet letterish stigma for them.
The Daily Grind: Do social media tie-ins annoy you?
Mar 17th 2012 8:52AM (Massively)I miss the old days when we weren't compelled to be social....or the internet equivalent of it. I miss the freedom of being a net hermit.

Feb 10th 2012 2:10PM (Massively)With the game 100% on Battlenet, it will be a simple matter to regionalize the RMAH. They won't delay the release of the game for it...they'll simply roll out AH access to different areas at different times (if at all) as their legal issues are ironed out.
Q2 does seem to be a bit farfetched. There are major game mechanics that haven't made it into the beta yet. Perhaps they're really feeling the pinch and will release it with only alpha/friends&family beta testing of those features....we'll see.

The Daily Grind: What's the longest an MMO's been out before you've tried it?
Jan 18th 2012 8:54AM (Massively)It took me about two years to get around to trying EVE...and another couple before I liked the trial enough to buy into it.
I was in WoW during late beta...but didn't buy in at the beginning. I played EQ2 for around a year and then jumped to WoW.
EQ was probably around for two years or so before I tried it. I forget what I was playing at the time (likely UO or DAoC), but was perfectly happy where I was.
