i heard all the kill this many quests are activated as you kill certain mobs, not take this quest and then kill and then walk back to claim your reward.

just though i drop that little info to show you how bioware is taking an idea and bringing it to the next level ;]

although I did get a key to apply to the beta about a week or two ago

whatever, keep on polishing the game. you dont want to make the same mistakes that always keep happening in the industry.

@Anticrawl dont think so and it doesnt sound like this will even be implemented at all or at least before they even have a server list..

as for the guild creation feature, im loving it! i wish more MMOs would give the players these kind of features prior to release. then we wouldnt have a need for websites like guildportal and such

seems like a great time to try the game out again.

i got an invite too last friday, i didnt see any options to download the client or play though. it only allowed me to use the code to potentially 'sign' up for a beta im guessing??

TERA FTW!!! I prefer the hit detection over Rift's target based combat anyday! TOR, you are the exception to this rule :D

@Greyhame you shouldnt have to, but if you were interested in the game you had your options ;]

i know we've all been burned by these companies time and time again but we all should know by now that AAA mmo's dont have any sort of trial at launch. that's why people try to get in for the beta or through a buddy key. you cant always warrant a purchase simply through the beta but at least you can get a general idea of what the game has to offer in terms of buying it at retail price.

i definitely took a chance buying another SOE game.. i think it was worth it to hose down my excitement and kill time until all the other AAA mmos we've all been hearing about are released. i would like to see more controller functionality in future MMOs, this seems to be one of the potential areas that are lacking in these types of games. i would love to see TERA played with a 360 controller!
