I read the original in high school and would be thrilled to have an updated version to refresh with.

Sadly, this is probably the poorest done rewards ever. $10 gets you nothing if you're not at GDC, $25 is only a credit mention, and all the options below $250 where you can actually get the book were so limited that they were instantly taken! I would have happily gone the $60 route just to get my copy signed...what possible logic is there behind limiting book copies to so few contributors?

I'll be picking up a legit copy...

Where did I leave my eye-patch and peg-leg...it's been so long...

The game surprised me quite a bit. I'm not sure how much content there really is (I feel like you could dig into the game for a month and get your life's fill), but I have to give the developers some serious props for all the little detailed things.

The customization is insane. The character creation is some of the best I've seen. The decal editor lets you pretty much design whatever the hell you want with clothes, tats, and cars. The song/jingle editor is an actual tracker program. They really nailed the customization part out of the park, I would kill to see other games go this all out like that.

Skyrim's going to take Game of the Year just because nobody's going to get to the other games in time.

So far Skyward Sword has completely blown me way and is easily GotY. It's so awesome to have all my doubts going in be so thoroughly smashed to pieces.

Bloodline Champions has 14 maps and 3 game modes.
Demigod had 8 maps and 2 game modes (one similar to Dominion).
Heroes of Newerth has 3 maps and a Map Editor.
Realm of the Titans is still beta with 2 maps and plays similar to Dominion.
DotA 2 is made by Valve whom always makes available mod/map tools eventually.

@dingoperson Terran got all it's game-breaking units from the start. I'm still waiting on the single Protoss/Zerg unit that counters every strategy in the game. *cough*Ghosts*cough*
