..but standard practice. I'm from NZ and I've been testing since early Aug. Server lag is comparable to Rift, which is better than WoW. Both games don't have local servers in the Oceanic region.
"I think you don't understand. There are two options given at the page the email directs you to: Accept Invite or Decline Invite. Considering I could just ignore it, I don't see any reason for a decline option unless it's to send out a new invite for someone else."
If you accept you're able to play but you'll be removed from the beta pool and wont be invited again (since there are so many testers waiting in line).
If you decline you wont be able to play but you do go back into the beta pool and may be randomly picked again.
If you do nothing you won't be able to play and you'll be removed from the beta selection pool.
"immersion breaking" would be standing in the Jedi temple listening to some Sith complain about datacrons being to hard to find. Glad there's no cross-faction global chat.
@MustardCutter Yeah for about a week and then ppl will move onto another 'problem' within the game.
From what I understand you wouldn't go to a world where the other faction is for the first 24 levels anyway, so it wouldn't make sense to have any form of contact with the other faction if they weren't in the area.
@telete I can't either, esp. since I'm from a not supported part of the world. Still, there is no IP blocking so you can order it from Amazon if you like.
