Sep 21st 2009 1:26AM (Massively)Just going to keep in short and sweet.
FE Crafting = You can be just a Crafter in FE and get to level capp if you wanted to (Classless). You can also do crafting offline and still get XP for levels. Crafting in FE is ESSENTIAL to the economy. 90 to 95% off all things is craftable in FE.
WoW Crafting = You can't level to 80 just by crafting. Crafting is Not Essential, basically you Raid dungeons for PHAT LOOT Gear in WoW in FE you depend on the Crafters to make you gear for you.
FE is about a persistent open world which faction struggles for dominance in certain sectors (town conflicts) also obtaining certain recipes for your crafters.
WoW is all about Instance Dungeon Raiding for Gear so you can do the BG's 100x over and over for other gear and weapons. Who would want a Crafted item over a Tier X item.
Two entirely different games.
Crafting is crafting, it just how you implement into your game mechanics.

Sep 13th 2009 10:52PM (Massively)If your looking for a mature crowd of gamers, well they are here. This game isn't revolved around speed leveling to end game since the game is designed on a skill system that is in place, but that doesn't stop the hardcore players in this game as well.
This games caters to more of the sandbox player base and not so much for the theme park mmo players. So if you want to feel lost in a PA scenario with many way to take your character. This is the game for you.
My suggestions as a mmo player for 10 years. If your favorite mmorpgs of the past were Anarchy Online, Eve, SWG, Neocron mixed in with some Neocron elements. You might enjoy the game. The game supports PvE and PvP.
I believe its a diamond in the ruff, but that's just my opinion. With talk of player housing, camps and expansions already in the works. I believe you will be see more of Fallen Earth in the future. It could very well be as successful as Eve Online, but only time will tell.
