Yea, there are like 50 or so dungeons in the game ranging from easy peasy to omg kill-you-quick raid content. some dungeons even have settings that allow you to set the difficulty of the encounters inside from normal mobs, to hard (1-up, 2-up), to elite (3-up), to epic (x1,x2,x3,x4).
Not to mention that this game has the best alternate advancement system i've seen yet.
The Cryptic devs also said they didnt purchase StarTrek Online from Pandemic when they folded, but they did. When devs say "no" they usualy mean "No, i cant confirm or deny that at this moment".
What i find interesting is that people are still skeptical that technology like this will work. All the key pieces already exist, HD streaming - Check (Netflix / Xbox Live / PSN), Server Based Game Processing - Check (Any MMO), Audio Streaming - Check (been around since the early 90s), Cloud Computing / Virtualization - Check (Amazon EC2, etc.). All the pieces work, its just a matter of making them work together.
Still looks like a plastic figurine to me. So until I see other screenshots, I'm still calling this one out as fake, no matter what the devs say, because I honestly cannot trust them anymore.
hrm, joystick port interface, eh? You mean like the ones that the current companies are NOT using. Like the ancient joystick ports on the back of sound cards?
They have no case, and never have. Consoles do not have Joystick Port Interfaces.
the only component cables i've seen where made by another company altogether and cost 60 freaking bucks! Im sorry, I want progressive scan games as much as the next guy, but im not shelling out 60 dollars for some *cough*special*cough* wires.
