As a lifetime lotro subscriber I can say I'm actually excited about this. I only bought the lifetime sub about 6 months ago, you'd think I'd be ticked, but no. This will get all my cheap and\or broke friends to join in and play. Plus my wife has limited time when she can play and we hate paying for a month of game time so she can spend a couple weekends playing.

This model is the future of MMO gaming. Everyone wins. I won't pay a monthly subscription for a game again.
