Instead of doing things like this, they should of redone something more important like a new UI, I would for sure come back then to check it out and see how I like it.
@SCB I got another one for you since you were kind enough to answer my post.
If one was to get EVO 4G and Sprint decides to bail on WiMAX, since we know they have LTE as fallback, would doing so kill off the 4G EVO? or would that auto convert to LTE from WiMAX?
I have an easy question about this phone for ya, chose this post cause it's the most recent Droid X post I could find.
I'm on verge of picking this over the EVO because I can join family's network and pay $40 for phone/net - and I know it's only a 3G phone, however, once Verizon launches LTE, will that transparently change it self over on most phones from 3G to 4G? or will one have to wait for LTE/4G Phones to show up?
I am interested in this phone, mostly because my family is on the network and it would only cost me $50 a month /w data to pony up to their plan.
However, only downside I can think of is the lack of front facing camera, not that I make Skype calls all the time, but for a phone I would have for at least a year, there's a pretty good chance I would try to do some video conferencing. Also the 3G network, when is Verizon rolling out LTE, and is it going to be a seamless transition to all existing phones? or will a phone need a new antenna ?
Yea, I haven't have a phone for about 2 years now.
I simply hated paying ~$100 a month for a phone that became outdated the minute I got it.
So, seeing Sprint come out with EVO 4G with wimax and a backup plan to do LTE, with one of the most affordable phone/data plans around.. I'm all aboard this one. Finally looking forward to owning a phone again.
