I have it on good authority that there indeed will be laser imbued sharks in the game. And who needs officicial forums when there's dcuosource.com? It's without a doubt the best resource for the game on the entire web AND the developers from DCUO actually post there. You can get lots of questions answered there.

I can also make a mean Eye of Newt Casserole that goes great with Brains. Mmmm...Brains....

I think that I'd name my airship "Earthbound" because i'm not really sure that an Airship would really work that well, and if so, it would be bound back for the earth destroying the ship in the process!!!

I'll give you a Nostalgic Moment. It's when Metroid Prime came out. Like many others, I was cautiously optimistic about the series change to 3D, but ended up incredibly loving the game! It was very reminiscent of searching the rooms of Zebes in the first Metroid game on the NES.

11:30 PM EST...ALL Realms still down. Not very reassuring for the eve of a Massive expansion launch. Methinks Blizzard is going to have some issues...

I played AD&D 2nd Edition back in High School in the late 80's and early 90's...and it paved the way for my love for RPGs and MMOs specifically. We had a pretty tight group of about 8 people that got together almost every Sturday night and spellunked the Forgotten Realms, killing kobolds, saving citizens, finding treasure and fighting Dragons.

I've had a continuous interest in DDO but i don't know anyone who plays and have wanted really badly yo try it. Maybe this will be that chance.

Making the Mounts a random DROP versus a guaranteed REWARD was the stupidest thing that Blizz has done to a Holiday. Brewfest was alway the ONE time you could guarantee an special mount if you worked for it. I ran 5 man groups every day during Brewfest and STILL have yet to get the Mount.

So Mounts. Yeah Blizz really effed up on that one.

I work for Blockbuster, so I tend to buy there...although anything i can't get at work I get at a local Game store called Monster Video Games and Comics. They're the former management of Rhino Video Games that created a new shop.

Just FYI for those of you out there that either, may not have a Circuit City nearby or if by chance their sold out:

The Ad for this deal was in the Sunday paper. If you can snag the CC Sales Paper from a Parent or Spouse's Sunday Paper, both Wal-Mart and Best Buy honor their competitions ads. It mus be the actual print ad, but as proof my wife bought two WoW time cards about 2 hours ago using this method, as the Wal-mart is nearby and the closest Circuit City is about 30 minutes away.

And that placeholder Lich King date has been inplace by Gamestop for nearly a year. It's probably pretty close to that date, but it's old news and frankly not official.

As usual, Blizzard will announce the release date when they're damn good and ready, not a moment sooner. :P
