Sep 19th 2009 4:47AM (Massively)and this man is what makes sure his share holders get moeny.

Activision Blizzard's CEO is a funpire
Sep 18th 2009 12:09AM (Massively)many people posting have made arguments on weather or not this man is just in his words because of how much profit he turns, how effective he is at his job, ect.
as a former fan and customer of blizzard entertainment i can only say that this company is not the same as it was 5-10-15 years ago. the wuality of its products has deminished, the art has fluctuated, the style has been watered down.
every model in WOW since WOTLK has been reused over and over again, every boss in wotlk follows almost exactly the same mechanics, ect. starcraft not to support lan, obviously so blizzard can profit off of the tournaments. diablo 3 missing the very core of its bone grinding gothic influance.
blizzard is a pupet of activision, a company with an immense following riding the rave of massive profits before it burns out.
is this right or wrong? this is the nature of capitalisem.
is this dissapointing for fans of the standards and art blizzard had previously created; the likes of which had never been seen before? very much so.
its disgusting

Jul 23rd 2009 1:54PM (Massively)i'm a full believer in the fact that a company will change its product based on the reactions of a community to said project. this is why developmental forums exist, and communities are created before the release of a game-- its nessesary to developers to keep on ear on thier communities--- and i dont expect anything of massively; the posts are what they are. however, you cant deny posts like this to be written to serve any agenda other than advertising feautures of the game so that joystiq can keep handing out paychecks.
and that being said, i dont expect to find anything really informative here, however i do believe headliners such as "players awaiting champions online second doubting MT game inclusion; what does bill roper have to say about blah blah blah and why could this be something not so bad" would do readers justice.
like any of this shit could be considered journalism anyway...

Jul 23rd 2009 1:07PM (Massively)by the way, this site almost makes no accomplishments in the way of keeping players informed with interesting and crucial information about game development for upcomming titles, instaed it uses its posts for said titles as a sort of advertising mechanisem-- its just fluff; a large written AD.
outside of eve online posts this site is only really about sucking and marketing; and i dont even play eve online...
