Aha, I had seen footage of the blood legion story, and was turned off from rolling a charr, but this is making me think an ash or iron could be more my style.
@Daeths The mercenary hero is an option to save your current character into a hero slot, thusly letting you use any character as a hero for any other character.
@Stormwaltz There's a few tricks I found to make it easier on a LM. Use your bear so you'll have a force taunt, to keep the npcs from dying, use your heal as often as possible, and debuff as much as you can. Also, the npcs use a lot of power, so you can supply them more to keep them killing and stunning more.
The stories of Isengard are pretty good- until you end a zone and the stories end abruptly, and usually aren't mentioned again in later zones. There were several places where a character could have shown up later, but unless it was part of the epic quest, they were dropped like old news.
Supposedly the exp rewards fro quests were increased in tuesdays patch, but I was usually getting only 80% of the exp I needed to level, completing every quest in a zone and handing in 10tasks a day. Around 70 the epic quest kicks into high gear, and I gain an extra level, but it still was not enough. I completed most of the slayer deeds, all of the quests, did a few skirmishes, and I am still only 74.5 Hopefully that quest exp boost will help my later characters some.
@(Unverified) "infinite size quest item only bag" is already part of lotro, items are placed in the quest window instead of in your bags. there are still some items like quest starters that go into your bag first. Better housing would be nice, but it's not like too many games even have as much housing as lotro has.
