Or you know...it could be an MMO for a different crowd? It will more than likely be more action based. And if they are smart (which they are) they will take a lot of ideas from Tabula Rasa.
+500 I get so tired of F2p grifters with their smug "If I choose to grace this game with my awesomeness and not pay a dime I should be able to do/get everything!"
I regularly play Global Agenda, and you hear people complain "It's so unfair that only boosters get to fly in Dome city". I love MMO's but MMO gamers can be some of the cheapest most self centered gamers that one can come across.
Anyone else notice the people who whine for F2p are the people who never buy anything in the shops? I would rather pay a sub, get all the content and keep the trolls/f2p grifters to a minimum.
I'm sick of games going f2p and then people complaining "oh that's not fair, you have to PAY for that!" I swear, this group of gamers is never happy.
I guess I could say I am a long time MMO Player (I used to hurry home from school to play the open beta of RO when they had just added archers and people claimed they were OP because they could attack from cliffs lol), but I am also a PC FPS fan. No GA isnt a MMO in the traditional sense but it really hits a lot of chords for me. Character progression, skill progression, awesome sci-fi elements and the best part? ITS FUN!
It takes all the best parts of a game like TF2 throws in some character progression, throws in persistent clan battles and now will be adding open world PVE.
This makes me sad there is no more Tabula Rasa. I mean come on who else played and thought it was great to get a few friends and defend the bases? That game had a really great sense of comradeship even amongst people you didn't know, you just knew that they were allies, and that you were all in it together. Teaming up in that game was more fun than ANY PVP match I have ever played. And I love PvP :/
