Feb 19th 2012 11:58PM (Joystiq)A bit later, shortly after the launch of the PS2 the game got a $10 re-release (as DBZ had become a big deal by then) for the budget gamer crowd. They were still selling the PSOne and a small handful of good and/or popular titles. Suffice to say, the value of the game by this time dropped drastically.
Again, shortly there after, PS2 DBZ games started getting released and by this point absolutely no one cared about Dragonball GT Final Bout.
I do think it is a terrible game, but I've played many of the Japanese ones and I can promise you folks, it is NOT the worst. Compared to some, it might pass for decent. I personally only think DBZ Budokai Tenkiechi 2 and 3 are good.
BTW, didn't the original box art call it "Dragonball Final Bout"? I know the re-release called it "GT"...

Jul 31st 2011 4:50PM (Joystiq)On the other hand, My only problem with this is the fact RTS and most FPS games aren't really great to watch. Last time I saw an event like this, which was a long time ago, they had no live feeds of the GAMES and it was basically 3 hrs of looking at people make faces in front of monitors, while brain dead announces just make random and irrelevant speech.
EVO 2k11 is more my kind of event. I like how they cover it, I love how they know what they are talking about. As much as I like some of the guys who play, they don't spend too much time on them, but rather on the game play.
I'll probably check this out for a little while just to see what its all about, but I'm really more about the EVO with SSF4 and MvC3.
