i'm pretty interested to see how they'll handle the big difference between the population of sith and the republic

The Daily Grind: Are beta weekends a good timeframe for testing?

Nov 13th 2011 8:24AM (Massively)
imho, this weekend test isnt really to let player have a look at their game, but instead see how their server can deal with a "release day" type of player base.

I like those weekend personally, give me a good chance to see the game, and in this case, see if my computer can handle the game. I use this time to learn the control, and play a race/class i won't be playing on release day.

the only memory i have from that game was the rubberbanding for hours after release, and the fact that rogue were really rogue.

nothing like stealing from people other than npc.

When Dark age of camelot was released.

it was buggy, lacked content, but i have fond memories of farming little gretching like mobs for hours in a cave, because it was pretty much the only place worth farming.

@drakon oh yeah, wasnt it the dungeon near the starting big city, with some kind of furry humanoid? I remember grinding there for days....

and i also remember how hard it was to be a crafter... i was one of the top armorcrafter in my server, until christmas arrived....

so much good time, it IS true what they say, there's nothing like the first time.

DAoC (at least on release), was a very long and hard way to get to the end, probably because the game didnt have much high lvl content, and we basically had to grind our way through 20 or so lvls
